Our story

Bristol’s urban winery.

Brislington Cellars is the Bristol urban winery of Siston Brook Vineyard, founded in 2025.

How it started

Inspired by Stellenbosch, made in Bristol.

Brislington Cellars started with Sai and Sophie, and a trip to Stellenbosch.

A visit to the wineries and vineyards around Stellenbosch in South Africa sparked an idea: bring that kind of experience, and that kind of hospitality, home to Bristol, the city we grew up in and love. Bristol had plenty of breweries, but it felt like it was missing a winery experience.

We started with the vineyard, Siston Brook. As the grapes came online, we needed somewhere to turn them into wine, and that became our winery here in Brislington.

For us it is about more than production. We want to bring people along for the ride. The real product is the experience: wine from grapes grown in our county, made by local people, with a look behind the scenes and a good time along the way.

Wine shouldn’t be pretentious or intimidating. It is fun, one of life’s simple pleasures, best enjoyed relaxing with friends and family.

We are a team of three, and we call ourselves foodies, not chefs. Our house preserves, jams and chutneys find their way onto the tasting table.
